It gives me great pleasure as the President of the first Greek letter organization servicing Covington and surrounding areas, to welcome you to the official website for the Chi Tau Omega Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. I am elated that you are taking the time to peruse our site in an effort to learn important information about our distinguished chapter and organization.
Yes, we are the essence of the soul of our community. We are the pink and green foundation that has covered and enhanced the Black Diaspora and the world for 100 years. We are women of color from around the world. Our various backgrounds, experiences and spirituality create a blend that enhances the performance and improve the aesthetic qualities of our community.
To whom much is given, much is EXPECTED, and the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority were born with this mantra echoing in their minds and cultivated in their actions! We are often referred to as pretty in pink and gorgeous in green but our soul existence is our “Service to all Mankind”. Community is the essence of one's soul in how we grow, develop, nurture, and how we give back is reflected in our every day actions. Thus, the women of AKA represent the IVIES of society never ending and always growing reaching far in the distance as a symbol of FORTITUDE!
As the Covingtion Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. celebrates more than 5 years of service to the community, let us cultivate and nurture the seeds planted in 1908 by our founders and not be stagnant. Let us reach out to the new women of sisterhood who remain potential blessings to the community and embrace them so that their seed will germinate and flourish. Let us strengthen the fabric by staying focused and maintaining sound wisdom and discretion as we aspire to the next level of service to the community.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc celebrates 100 years of service to mankind. The 100 year celebration convened in Washington DC starting July 13-18th. This was an exciting pilgrimage for our sorority. Chi Tau Omega sorors were in attendance for this historic event.
